Scot-Free
My first solo cd. I used cues from a film
I scored for Dennis Petersen. Then I put together some tunes using
that same thematic material. So the cd is sort of a mixed bag:
electronic film cues and funky instrumentals.
Theres a blues tune at the end featuring my old friend Sam
Cox. Jeff Chin plays a couple of superb solos. This really is
a good cd, if I do say so myself.

Uncle
John
My second solo cd. This one has no background music. Every tune
is a portrait of a friend or family member or a person who influenced
my life in some way, shape or form. Also, every tune is a direct
reference to earlier jazz standards, with the primary influences
being John Coltrane and Thelonious Monk. Guest appearences by
Yuko Tamura and Dave Pozzi. You cant go wrong with this
one.
